If you’ve considered going electric, now is the moment. Right now, qualifying used electric vehicles (EVs) are eligible for a federal tax credit worth up to $4,000, but that incentive officially ends on September 30, 2025—and it’s not staying around.

GM To Go All Electric By 2035

General Motors is one of many auto manufacturers looking to transition over to zero emissions for all vehicles, from sedans to trucks. The automaker will be carbon neutral by 2035, this was announced Thursday by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mary Barra.
