How Do I Connect My Phone To CarPlay?
It's pretty easy, alot of new cars come with it and it can even connect via bluetooth. If your vehicle supports CarPlay with a USB cable, simply plug in your iPhone into the USB port of your vehicle.
Now here is where it gets cool! If it supports it wirelessly and with a USB cable; plug in your iPhone into the USB port in your vehicle. An alert will appear on your phone and will offer you to connect wirelessly on your next drive!
If your vehicle only supports wirelessly, hold the voice command button on your steering wheel. Make sure that your stereo is in wireless or Bluetooth mode. Next on your phone go to settings > Wi-Fi, and also make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Then tap the CarPlay network, and check that Auto-Join is turn on. Then go to Settings > General > CarPlay and select your vehicle.
Then once you are connected via bluetooth, your infotainment screen will be taken over by CarPlay and you are set to jet!
