Tesla has offically opened their Supercharger network to Ford and GM. Next year Rivian will also be added to the network. This gives more electric vehicle drivers more access to charge their vehicles in a short amount of time.
Telsa superchargers used to be only for Telsa vehicles, but that has now changed! If you currently drive an older Ford or GM product you will need an adapter to charge your ev. Some Tesla Superchargers have a magic dock where you wont need the adaptor, but if you travel alot it is good to just keep an adapter in your vehicle just incase. For 2025 models GM and Ford will start equipping their vehicles with the NACS port, thus there will be no need for an adapter at a Tesla Supercharger.
