-Drive until your own decided buffer suggestion, we suggest giving yourself a 20% buffer for those just in case moments i.e. getting stuck in a traffic jam.
-Charge speeds drop when your vehicle battery is 70% full, the drop is steeper when the battery reaches 80%, and even more so at 90%.
The maximum miles you can go between charging your electric vehicle is between 180-200 miles; for example, it is from Rochester, NY to Old Forge, NY, which is about 3 hours. If you are a frequent road tripper, this is a perfect amount of time to stop for a bathroom break and grab a snack while your electric vehicle is charging.
