Long trip ahead and want to turn on cruise control? Have you noticed that a message populated on your screen that states “radar cruise control unavailable”, thus not allowing you to use cruise control? We are going to show you how to turn off that message and get your cruise control working again.
Although this message may be frightening at first, there is an easy way to fix this. Your Toyota has front sensors that may be blocked by snow or dirt. Simply clean your vehicle’s front grill and make way for the sensor. This should turn off the message and you should be able to use cruise control again.
If you are still having trouble, run your vehicle through the car wash and try it again. If that doesn’t clear this issue contact Toyota and they will be able to assist you.
